7th and 8th grade students are invited to stay after school on Wednesday, May 22 for the Knight Social presented by the Greenon PTO. Music, Basketball, Video Games, Pizza, Ice Cream, and Yard Games for the low price of $2!. Concessions will be available for purchase using PBIS points.

Congratulations to 8th grader Violet Breland and Senior Kaity Fields for placing 1st and 2nd in the Congressional Art Show! This is the second year in a row that Violet has won this competition!
The Congressional Art Show is a national art competition in which each member of the US House of Representatives selects one piece of art to represent their congressional district and hang in the US Capitol building for one year.
This year Violet's oil painting, “The Glisten of Crimson” won the competition for Representative Mike Carey’s Ohio 15th Congressional District. Her piece will hang in the US Capitol Building starting in July.
Kaity’s acrylic painting, “A Delicate Balance” captured second place. Her piece will hang in Representative Carey’s office for one year beginning in July.

Celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Week! As you see the MANY volunteers around our school, give them a huge thanks for helping our school community thrive every day.
From helping with lunch duty, tutoring kids, morning drop-off, and afternoon dismissal, to our parent groups that organize student, community, and sporting events for our #GreenonKnights, your contributions are truly invaluable. We couldn't do it without you!

Good afternoon,
Boys Tennis vs KR has been canceled this evening. It will be made up on 5/8/24.
Thank you,

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., a mock crash scene will be staged at the Greenon Athletic Complex, located at 3950 S. Tecumseh Rd. Be advised that emergency personnel will be staged before the simulation on Chico Court leading up to the event and will be on-site at the Greenon Athletic Complex for the duration of the mock crash.
This simulation, for our high school juniors and seniors, aims to raise awareness about the dangers of reckless driving, particularly driving under the influence and distracted driving. This crash recreation is a collaborative effort involving the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the local fire department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Care Flight. We appreciate their willingness to provide this impactful experience for our students.

Good morning,
The athletic boosters are attempting to run concessions just as we do for fall and winter sports, this spring. They/we are in need of volunteers for several dates still. Please consider helping out. Stipends are $15/person for baseball/softball and $30/person for a track meet. Those funds can be designated to your favorite Greenon sport, your student’s pay to play fees, or your favorite school club or charity (must be 501c3).
Please consider helping them out, as the boosters do so much for us already.
