This year, the Clark County Fair was held from July 19 - 26. Every FFA member exhibited a project at the fair. I exhibited two SAEs this year. I raised and showed Martin, my dairy feeder, and I also created and displayed a poster outlining my experience working at Sunset Ridge Lavender Farm. Along with my SAEs, I was able to display my welding project that I worked on throughout the 2023-2024 school year. The Clark County Fair is not only a place to exhibit an SAE, it is also a place to connect with friends, learn about different aspects of agriculture, and meet new people. Walking through the Youth Building and reading about other FFA and 4H member’s projects always helps me learn more about our community and what we can do to better ourselves and others.
