Greenon Local Schools came together this holiday season to support families in need in our community through several drives. At Greenon Elementary, students and staff collected over 3,000 items for Enon Relief, with the 5th grade winning the school-wide challenge. The drive brought some friendly competition and creative ways to incorporate learning. Mrs. Lambert’s kindergarten class built a paper chain to represent each item they collected, and the students loved watching and counting as the chain grew longer each day.

The spirit of giving extended beyond the elementary level. Greenon’s Middle School also organized a successful food drive to donate to local families. At the high school, the student council embraced the season of giving by adopting families to provide for during the holiday season.

These successful food drives and efforts reflect the generosity of the Greenon community. Thank you to all students, staff, and community families who made these initiatives successful!
