The 2024-2025 school year begins August 19th with all 1st through 12th grade students. Kindergarten students with last names A-M will begin August 22nd. Kindergarten students with last names N-Z will begin August 23rd. ALL Kindergarten students will report on August 26th.

FORMS
All parents must complete back-to-school forms for each student in their family at the start of the new school year. Parents will receive reminders to complete back-to-school forms via email using Final Forms. CLICK HERE to access Final Forms to complete your back-to-school forms.

All back to school forms are due by August 1st, 2024.

SCHOOL FEES
School fees for the 2024-2025 school year will help support opportunities for your student in the classroom. Families can pay school fees on the PaySchools Central website: HERE.

There will be a table at the 8-12 Open House and the K-6 Open House on both August 14th and August 15th from 5:00pm-7:00 pm for parents to pay school fees or ask questions.


BUS ROUTES
Bus routes will be posted on the front doors of our K-12 campus building and the WEBSITE at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 9th. If you have route questions, please contact the transportation department at 937-340-6352.

If you have transportation changes for the new school year, please complete your back-to-school forms, which includes transportation information and changes, on Final Forms.

The transportation department will be at the 8-12 Open House and the K-6 Open House on both August 14th and August 15th to answer questions from families. During the K-6 Open House, the transportation department will be available for students to meet drivers, become familiar with the buses, and for parents to ask questions. 

DISTRICT COMMUNICATIONS
Beginning the 2024-2025 school year, all teachers, staff, and coaches will use the Rooms two-way communication feature in the Greenon Local Schools app. If you need assistance setting up your Rooms account, visit our Rooms Support page on our website: https://www.greenonschools.org/page/rooms-support or contact vbeekman@greenonschools.org.

There will be booths for parents to visit at the 8-12 Open House and the K-6 Open House!

Stop by the school fees booth to pay school fees or ask questions, the transportation booth for bus route and transportation questions, and the food services booth to learn about new payment processing for school meal funds and other questions related to food services!

CLASS LISTS & SCHEDULES
Class lists for 1st-6th grades will be posted on the doors of our K-12 campus at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 9th.

Schedules for 7th graders will be provided during 7th Grade Orientation on Thursday, August 12th. Schedules for 8th through 12th-grade students will be available at the 8th—12th Open House on August 14th.

Kindergarten class lists will be available during the Kindergarten Open House on Wednesday, August 21st from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.

KINDERGARTEN
Kindergarten screening will take place on August 19th and 20th. If you have not scheduled a screening session, please email Mr. Kyle Phelps, Greenon Elementary Principal, at kphelps@greenonschools.org for screening information.  

Kindergarten students with last names starting with A-M will attend school on Thursday, August 22nd, and will not attend on Friday, August 23rd.

Kindergarten students with last names starting with N-Z will not attend school on Thursday, August 22nd, but will attend on Friday, August 23rd.

All kindergarten students will begin attending together on Monday, August 26th.
