Greenon Welcomes New Athletic Director Kevin Finch

Mr. Kevin Finch returns to Greenon Schools as the new Athletic Director/Dean of Students at Greenon Junior/Senior High School. Once a Knight, always a Knight! Mr. Kevin Finch returns to Greenon Schools as the new Athletic Director/Dean of Students at Greenon Junior/Senior High School.

Mr. Finch previously taught as an Intervention Specialist at Greenon High School. He comes to Greenon from Fayetteville, where he is an Intervention Specialist and has previously taught in Franklin County, Indiana, Leetonia, Kettering Fairmont, and Goshen.

“Mr. Finch brings enthusiasm for athletics and helping students succeed and a proven track record of achievements as an educator to his new role at Greenon Schools,” said Superintendent Brad Silvus. “His experiences in special education and coaching will be an asset as the new Athletic Director and Dean of Students.”

Mr. Finch also brings 24 years of coaching experience to his new position. He coached softball at Greenon High School from 2010-2013 and was an assistant Knights Football coach from 2009-2012.

A native of Northeastern Ohio, Mr. Finch earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education at Youngstown State University. He holds two Master’s degrees from Rio Grande University, one in special education and the second in educational leadership.

Former Athletic Director Adam Billet will be the assistant principal at Greenon Junior/Senior High School this fall. Former Assistant Principal Jared Shore will be the new principal of Greenon Junior/Senior High School.
